In Cook County, Township Assessors do not assess property. The Cook County Assessor sets assessment levels for all properties. The Barrington Township Office cooperates with the Cook County Assessor's Office to assist you, the tax payer. We are your "Tax Payer Advocate."

Barrington Township will be open for appeals with the Board of Review from November 8, 2011 until December 7, 2011. Appeals can be filed online at www.cookcountyboardofreview.com. The Board of Review can be reached at 312-603-5542. Taxpayers can also file an appeal in the Township office. We can be reached at 847-381-5632. Please note that the Township will be closed on November 11th for Veterans Day and November 24th and 25th for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Welcome to the Barrington Township Assessor's office. This office can assist you with questions regarding the Cook County property tax process. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Summer hours are Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (office is closed from Noon to 1:00 p.m. for lunch) and Friday 8:00 a.m. to Noon.
